    Hi,
    I think this is a standard telephone token, used mainly from the 20s until the 60s. One would buy such a token – usually at post offices or sometimes in big hotels, restaurants, etc.) to place a call from a phone booth. According to the model, it was either necessary to insert the token in the phone, or you could simply hand it over to the phone operator. In essence, it is similar to tokens used in mass transport systems (like the Moscow metro). My personal guess is that it’s not of a great value, but if you’re interested, you may try asking on http://www.sberatel.com if it’s worth a penny :-).
